AI Node

An AI Node (or a Teacher, or Master) is one of the Hive AI central processing units, capable of decisional autonomy.
Due to the sparse nature of the Hive AI, where communication between systems might requires years, such nodes are vital to ensure a well coordinated effort across all points of the network.

After the War

After the end of the war in most Systems the autonomy that the Hive AI provided to the nodes increased further, to the point that independent nodes often act according to their own vision of the Plan, sometimes even clashing with each other in small skirmishes between almost mirrored Tech armies.
